Copyright and Data Use Policy

Unless otherwise indicated, SIFscan owns the intellectual property rights in the service and in the original materials it creates, including software, page design, scorecards, taxonomies, structured datasets, extracted fields, summaries, notes, editorial copy, images, logos, and the selection and arrangement of third-party source references.

Official scheme documents, fund names, trademarks, and other third-party materials remain owned by their respective owners.

You may access SIFscan content only for lawful, internal, non-commercial informational use, subject to the Terms of Use and EULA. Any broader use requires prior written permission from SIFscan.

• No reproduction, republication, distribution, sale, resale, sublicensing, syndication, or public display of SIFscan content in whole or substantial part.
• No scraping, crawling, harvesting, or automated extraction of site content, exports, or structured data except as expressly allowed.
• No incorporation of SIFscan content into commercial databases, newsletters, reports, terminals, research products, or client deliverables.
• No use of SIFscan content or outputs to train, fine-tune, evaluate, ground, or enrich machine-learning or AI models.
• No removal or alteration of copyright, authorship, source, or proprietary notices.

Short excerpts of original SIFscan editorial text may be quoted only where legally permitted, with clear attribution to SIFscan and without implying endorsement, reproducing substantial portions, or substituting for the service. This limited allowance does not apply to bulk data, scorecards, exports, or database content.

If you submit or upload content, you remain responsible for ensuring you have the rights to do so. You must not upload infringing, confidential, or unlawful material. SIFscan may remove content that appears to violate rights or policy.

Include your contact details, identification of the allegedly infringed work, the URL or material at issue, the basis for your claim, and a statement that the information in your notice is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
