Terms of Use

By accessing or using SIFscan, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie and Browser Storage Policy, the Accuracy and Investment Disclaimer, the Copyright and Data Use Policy, and the End User License Agreement where applicable.

These terms apply to all public pages, authenticated tools, administrative workflows, exports, data views, and any summaries, notes, scores, or other outputs generated or displayed through the service.

• You may use SIFscan only if you can form a binding agreement under applicable law.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate account information and update it if it changes.
• Administrative access is restricted. SIFscan may suspend or revoke credentials at any time for security, abuse, or policy breaches.

• You may view and use the service for your own lawful, internal, informational, educational, or diligence-related purposes.
• You may cite small, attributed excerpts of original SIFscan commentary only where such use is lawful and does not substitute for the service or the underlying dataset.
• You may print or save limited materials for your own internal reference, subject to the restrictions below.

• No commercial use. You may not sell, license, syndicate, republish, monetize, or use SIFscan or its outputs in a paid product, client deliverable, data feed, or commercial workflow without prior written permission.
• No redistribution. You may not copy, mirror, frame, bulk-download, retransmit, or redistribute any substantial portion of the site, its data, or its outputs.
• No scraping or automated harvesting. You may not use bots, scripts, crawlers, or similar means to access the service in bulk, except standard search-engine indexing that SIFscan expressly allows.
• No AI or model training use. You may not use any SIFscan content or outputs to train, fine-tune, evaluate, seed, or enrich machine-learning or generative-AI systems without written consent.
• No unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or security-compromising activity, including attempts to bypass authentication, rate limits, robots controls, or technical protections.

SIFscan compiles information from third-party and official sources, including AMC disclosures, AMFI modules, and SEBI-regulated materials. Those sources may change, contain errors, omit details, or become stale.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SIFscan disclaims all warranties and representations regarding accuracy, completeness, timeliness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation. You assume all risk arising from reliance on the service.

• SIFscan is not an investment adviser, portfolio manager, broker, distributor, or fiduciary.
• Nothing on the site is investment advice, a recommendation, an offer, a solicitation, a suitability opinion, or a promise of outcomes.
• Tax, regulatory, and legal references are general and educational only. Users remain responsible for obtaining professional advice relevant to their own circumstances.

SIFscan and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the service, including its code, design, compilation, arrangement, database structure, extracted fields, summaries, scorecards, editorial content, and branding, except for third-party materials that remain owned by their respective owners.

Your use is limited to the narrow permissions expressly granted in these terms and the EULA. No implied licenses are granted.

Official scheme documents, fund names, trademarks, logos, and regulatory materials referenced on the service may be owned by AMCs, regulators, exchanges, or other third parties. Their appearance does not imply endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship, or transfer of rights to you.

SIFscan may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice. It may remove content, limit access, or terminate accounts where necessary to protect the service, comply with law, or respond to misuse.

SIFscan may update these terms from time to time. The latest version posted on the site will control from the stated effective date.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SIFscan and its operators, contributors, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or loss-of-profit damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, business opportunity, trading loss, regulatory issue, or decision made in reliance on the service.

If liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the lesser of the amount you paid to SIFscan for the specific service in the 12 months preceding the claim or INR 1,000.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SIFscan and its operators from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, breach of these terms, or violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be submitted to courts of competent jurisdiction in India unless applicable law requires otherwise.
